Scarce U.S. Commemorative M3 Fighting Knife S/n 02877

I can't remember having seen an M3 commemorative knife before. I've had lots of MK2 navy but not M3s
The knife has a 6.75" blackened blade stamped U S M3 Camillus on one side and Utah Omaha Gold Juno Sword P161 Landing Craft D-Day June 6, 1944 on the other.
The knife is 11.5" overall with a gold wash crossguard pommel and a stacked leather grip, an M6 sheath brass plaque, a 1 of 2000 booklet, and a carton S/n 02877
Please note that some of the plating has lifted.
