U.S Conetta MK2 Navy Bayonet S/n 02833

This is a bit of an odd bayonet
The bayonet has a 7" clipped-blued blade stamped U.S. CONETTA and it is 12" overall with a steel crossguard pommel stacked leather grip and a U S N MK 2 scabbard
Now Some sites say they are from the Vietnam period (We know Conetta made MK2 for Vietnam) Some say experimental Some product improvements Some sniper versions and Some were also put together in the 1980s by a company called SARCO
I honestly don't know as I have never owned one before but the bayonet is in excellent condition S/n 02833
