These knives first appeared about 35 years ago and nobody knew what they were Until Ron Flook showed one in his Primer in 1990 and they are French Foreign Legion knives with a cut down U.S. P17 bayonet with a 7.5" black finished blade and a modified crossguard and it is 12" overall The scabbard has been changed as well with the addition of a belt loop S/n 0895
